About Kari
Kari's musical journey began at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California, where she developed her skills on the harp. She continued her education at the University of Minnesota, earning dual Bachelor degrees in both Harp Performance and Sociology. Her impressive performance credits showcase her talent as the Principal Harpist with several orchestras, including Claremont Symphony Orchestra ,CA ., The Tri-City Symphony Orchestra WA., The Cleveland Heights Chamber Orchestra, OH., The Cleveland Women's Orchestra, OH., The Euclid Orchestra , OH., Lakewood Symphony Orchestra, Oh.,The Great Lakes Ballet Festival, Oh., The Great Lakes Orchestra, Oh., Suburban Symphony Orchestra, OH., and The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, OH. While Principal Harpist with the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, Kari performed in concert with Dennis DeYoung's rock group Styx, Michael Bolton, and Monica Mancini. In the Midwest her impressive performance credits include Principal Harp with Encore Wind Ensemble, MN.,Fargo Moorhead Ballet, ND., Kenwood Symphony Orchestra, MN., La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, WI., Medalist Concert Band MN., Oratorio Society of MN., The Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra, ND, and Vocal Essence in Saint Paul Minnesota. Further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and accomplished musician, Kari has performed Handel's Harp Concerto in B- flat Major HWV 294, Mozart's Flute and Harp Concerto in C Major, K.299, and Ravel's Introduction and Allegro M.46
